Hey, I'm a Junior!
According to Dictionary.com the word sophomore is derived from the geek words sophos, wise, and moros, stupid. Makes sense. But hey, I'm a Junior! Graduation last night was as boring as usual, fortunately I was able to bask in the warm glow of my GBA SP. Before heading back to school for graduation I stopped at Best Buy to pick up a new game for the choir tour on Friday. I really wanted a Castlevania game, but they didn't have any of them. It's like Best Buy discriminates against vampires or something. I couldn't find anything I thought I would even vaguely enjoy, but I was desperate, I knew I wouldn't see the inside of another electronics store until after the trip. So I settled for Splinter Cell:Pandora Tomorrow. As I approached the register a lone tear ran down my cheek. Well, not really. SC:PT isn't that bad, really, it's a side-scroller that emphasizes stealth. The game is pretty hard so it should last me a while. When I got to the band banquet someone saw it and immediately said "Sphincter Cell". Close enough. You *are* supposed to take guys from behind. I also picked up a French Horn from school for a friend who couldn't rent one this summer. It's very shiny. I need to start studying Latin, but I know I'll wind up putting it off until I get back from choir tour. I finished reading Dark Glory War last night. Very good, review on site later.
