A Saturday that's not wasted, who knew?
I feel so productive today. I didn't really DO anything, but I thought about it. Woke up at about noon and it felt early, then I had to do what I have dubbed "cram practice" for a jazz piano lesson, I don't know why I bothered, my teacher is one of those kind of beatnik liberal types. We talk about stuff sometimes, and today we spent ten or so minutes discussing the gradual moral decay of all great republics, as it applies to our current political and cultural atmosphere. I can get into a debate with anyone. I did win the "master debater" award in band. Stupid. After I got home I worked on some katas with my dad. I'm trying to get back into shotokan this summer, I dropped out of it because of drumline rehearsals being on the same night as training. I was able to pick it back up quickly, just like riding a bike. I'm going to Border's soon to spend my money on books and stuff. I want to get Rubicon: The Last Years of the Roman Republic I'm calling the bookstore now to see if they have it. The woman who answered the phone sounds like she's crying. I hope she's not sad. Ok they have it. I'm off.
