ugh.
Today is not a happy day. I was so tired in school today, I was falling asleep in all of my classes. My Latin teacher was nice enough not to say anything, while he was yelling at other people who were sleeping. I attribute this to my mastery of the art of sleeping sitting up; all those freshmen have yet to learn that if you put your head down, it's kind of obvious that you're sleeping. God, my sister is watching American Idol right now. I can't stand shows like that. They cater to the lowest common denominator. There is no plot, just people being overly dramatic. I swear, the moment FOX stops airing The Simpsons, I will carbomb them (if you're from ATF: I'm just kidding) in order to save the world from the massive amounts of stupid (I find using adjectives as nouns makes it more insulting) that they broadcast. But I digress. When I got home today I was so tired I just went to bed. I was woken up at about five by my mom asking why a CD she had wouldn't read, turns out that when she burned it buffer underrun protection wasn't enabled and she burned a coaster. I hate having to dissect a CD drive just to deduct that the CD is flawed. I wish I had Gabriel's foresight. Then I went back to sleep, only to be awoken be my mother again, this time asking where the hell her shiny, new digital camera went. It turns out she has a photography class tonight. As I sleepily turned over I vaguely remembered something about me having to take pictures of the children's choir at church yesterday, and coming home without the camera. I muttered some obscenities under my breath and fessed up. Needless to say, my mom was pissed. Very pissed. So my day hasn't been so hot. I did get my yearbook. It has the stereotypical popular people smiling in "impromptu" pictures. There is a reason I got it, though: when I am an old bitter man I'll be able to look back at my bitter time in high school, and fuel my bitterness (who knows? Maybe bitterness will turn to eccentricity, that'd be nice). Well I'm off to go study for chemistry, we have HOW many days left?
