Urges
So I'm sitting in Latin today when suddenly I had a vision. The lightsaber in my hand, myself cutting down evildoers with a reckless abandon. I was fortunately able to interpret these urges correctly as a deep subconscious desire to play Jedi Academy. The burning desire stuck with me for the rest of the day. As soon as I got home I booted it up, and once again felt the thrill of a good fps. I'm not sure why but my gaming seems to follow a cycle that alternates between genres. I have been so obsessed with Final Fantasy:Tactics that I forgot about games like Jedi Knight and Desert Combat, and as always my time is also spent playing DDR. I think why I stopped playing Jedi Knight is that the game is good, but the story is short. I mean really short, I played through the whole thing twice in the week after I got the game. It's still a great selection for LAN parties, however. At least I'll get a lot of gaming in this Summer, if not much else. By the way, if you laugh, you're insane.
