  I hate telemarketers.
I stayed up way too late last night playing DDR. I didn't go to bed 'till I heard my parents' alarm clocks going off. Then I woke up at eleven because the phone is ringing. Being the slave to machines that I am, I drowsily picked it up and was greeted with "would you like to renew your subscription to 'Popular Science'?" I don't get it. They put in thousands of those little subscription cards in PER ISSUE, and they still feel the need to call me at hours when most people aren't home and wake me from my peaceful slumber. I must have been talking in my cracking teenage voice, because the man on the other end of the line is like, "are you a minor?" I should have lied, but I was too tired, so I just said yes. Immediately upon hearing this he starts speaking very slowly, using small words. "OK. When your mommy and daddy get home, ask them if" at this point I wanted to inform him that I read his crappy magazine, but I don't find it nearly as informative as Scientific American, among others, and that he can go bugger himself. Instead I just hung up. I hate people who patronize teens just because of our age. A lot of people my age are much better informed of world events, and have better informed political opinions and such, than many adults I know. Unfortunately all the jock/stoner/just plain idiots ruin it for us. bastards.

Ok, now that my little rant is done, the link of the day is a delightful cross between Star Trek and Tolkien (Quicktime movie, may take a minute to load).
