Lazy days of Summer.
Wow, the only productive thing I did all day was to install drivers on the computer. And now Counter-Strike doesn't work on it! That's what I get for trying to tweak the hell out of the graphics card. Spent some time also working on AMX mod. It's being bitchy, again. Mom is at a conference which = I made burritos for dinner. yum. Today's link is something useful. Grid.org uses the power of distributed computing to help find a cure for cancer. Here's how it works: Cancer research involves a lot of computations, so instead of buying a supercomputer grid.org uses extra bits of processing power of home computers to perform these calculations. You just download a small program and it runs in the background, calculating. Sure, you may not have cancer now, but think of it as in investment for the future, you know, just in case.
