My last day...

Tomorrow is the last day of my Summer vacation to be spent at home. I'm leaving on Sunday for the mission trip to LA with church. I feel like I've been really selfish lately, thinking only of myself. Maybe this will help me to feel better. We go to LA for a week and stay with the people from Center for Student Missions. Plus I'm going with friends who have been out of town all summer, so seeing them again will be cool.

The last day of the trip we are going to hang out at Six Flags. Accually everyone but me is going to. I have to leave early in order to get back to Phoenix in time to catch my plane to Debate Camp. When I return I hope to be a true master debater. umm..

But as soon as I get back on the seventh I have to get about four hours of sleep and catch a plane to Denver for the Drum Corps International World Championships After I return from Denver, school starts.

Yup, my Summer here is almost over, and I can feel my Junior year upon me. The line-up next year: Band, English honors, Latin, Physics honors, Trig Pre-calc honors, and American History AP. I'm so screwed. I did quit marching band, so no more six AM mornings, or nine PM practices for me. I wouldn't have quit marching band, but the entire staff was fired or quit and I don't really feel like starting at square one again. Oh well, I guess in the big scheme of things it isn't that important, but it was a lot of fun, and we had some good memories, and some not so good. But to quote Mr. Brandt, "Life's a bitch, and then you die."

I was going to leave on that note but the LotD (Link of the day) is the CES Encryption Utility. It's a really good, free encrytion utility that operates on a key/password system. In other words, if you don't know the key, you can't decrypt the file. Very nice for sensitive files (or pr0n whatever, I don't really care).
