  Jamez, with a Z.
This day in History:
  • 1812 - War of 1812: USS Constitution defeats the British frigate Guerrière off the coast of Nova Scotia. The British shot is said to have bounced off the Constitutions sides, earning her the nickname "Old Ironsides".
  • 1839 - Presentation of Jacque Daguerre's new photographic process to the French Academy of Sciences.
  • 1960 - Cold War: In Moscow, downed American U-2 pilot Francis Gary Powers is sentenced to ten years imprisonment by the Soviet Union for espionage.
School drags on, and I'm still hanging in honors English, though that might be because the teacher had jury duty today and we had a sub. Today was pretty good. I missed third and fourth hour because of an assembly on bullying. Dumbest assembly ever. This lady who wrote a book on bullying got up and talked about her experiences being bullied and how we should never bully people and stuff. Wow, I'll never brutally assault another student again. Call me reformed. Our school doesn't really have a problem with bullying, I mean, sure we have people who are assholes, but nothing on the level that she described to us. I think really that despite her telling us that if we're picked on there's nothing wrong with us, there was something wrong with her. She acted stupidly and didn't report or stand up to the bullies correctly, in my opinion. Then she told us that if we were bullied we should look the bully in the eye and say, "dude that's not cool." Yeah, right. Anyways instead of listening to most of the assembly I got a few more pages of reading in on Story of Philosophy Because the assembly screwed up all of the schedules we got to slack off in Trig and English that was cool. Jeff wouldn't stop clustering (an activity similar to brainstorming that involves acting retarded) and even did clusters on random people, correctly guessing that Ben hates Céline Dion .

I was talking with Lauren and she mentioned James Bond, to which I mentioned the JamezBond Animutation (keep an eye out for the happy condom). As a bonus LotD here's a sprite comic that's been around awhile called 8-bit Theater it's a sprite comic that uses the sprites from the origional Final Fantasy game.

Major site redesign soon, maybe a domain name change.
