Warning: Randomness Ahead!
This day in History:
- 1040 - Assasination of King Duncan of Scotland by Macbeth.
- 1945 - Japan surrenders following Soviet invasion of Manchuria and devastation of two cities by atomic bombs, ending World War II
So I was supposed to go to training last night. Sensei was out of town and Art and Shawn were teaching the two classes. I decided to stay home and do my homework instead. I've got homework in four classes out of six, this is not a good sign for the rest of the year. I'm mostly done with Physics and Trig, really easy stuff, just boring. I read American History, but I need to go back and take notes now, there's going to be some retarded test on Monday, name the states or something stupid like that. Still have Latin II to start, I forgot everything from that class, this packet won't be too much fun. Was going to go to see a movie last night but decided not to.
Total movies seen this Summer: Shrek 2
I really need to get out more. I did get to the final boss in MegaMan Battle Network 4. He's really farking hard. 2000 HP and ground attacks don't effect him, in addition he can only be hurt when his little light is on, which is about half the time. I've tried to beat him about ten times now, I read that the GunSol 4 chip is really good against him, but it's a really long side-quest to get it. Reinstalled all of the programs on the computer instead of going to a movie last night. Fell asleep out of boredom at about 11 and woke up at 4 to finish what I was doing, then I went to bed and got another five hours of sleep. In short, way too much sleep already.

The computer seems to be running slowly, so it's probably not totally fixed yet. I've heard that SP2 offers a considerable performance boost, so maybe after I install it the computer will run faster and I can ignore the fact that the computer is still screwed up, just as one would ignore a slowly growing tumor. I have yet to install SP2 because I've heard that it has a conflict with
ZoneAlarm, and I don't trust the Windows firewall enough to uninstall ZoneAlarm. I hope they fix this issue soon.
