  By your choirs combined...
This day in History:
  • 490 BC - Athens defeats Persia at the Battle of Marathon
  • 1957 - NORAD began operations.
  • 1994 - The Netscape browser is released
Woke up at eight this morning and had to be at church by eight-thirty, mom was none too happy. Sang two services with the combined choirs, that was lots of fun. I'm such a geek, I think singing in church is fun. Loved signing "Old Time Religion", it started off with a duet by the siblings Troxler and ended with whole choir doing some really cheesy (but fun) chords. Very upbeat. Being Methodists there was, of course, a potluck after the service (it was a big important Sunday, hence the combined choirs). Then went home to play Tales of Symphonia. Got back to church at 3:30 for choir practice and the youth group fall kickoff. Went ok, some of it fell a little flat, but there was a good turnout. I was in charge of cleanup. Some well meaning people tried to clean stuff up earlier but just made my job harder, oh well. Came home and read some more. Star Wars book count: 6 down, 23 to go. Go to bed now, school tomorrow and I didn't do history, crap.
