  Moment of silence.
This day in History:
  • 2001 - The September 11 attacks destroy the World Trade Center in New York City, part of The Pentagon in Washington, D.C., and down a passenger airliner in Pennsylvania. In total, almost 3,000 are killed.

Just wanted to remind everyone. If we forget those who died, and let down our vigilance, then we devalue their deaths. I'm a patriotic person underneath my cynicism. I would die for my country if I was asked to, 'nuff said.

Woke up at eight this morning to get to an early oboe lesson. Was half-asleep for the whole thing, but then again, so was my teacher (she doesn't normally teach that early). Went home to play about five hours of Tales of Symphonia. Then I had combined choir practice at church. See for big events all the choirs at church (about four or so) combine to form VOLTRON, DEFENDER OF THE UNIVERSE! a really big, powerful sounding choir. Of course, you can't just haphazardly throw people together and expect them to sing well, hence the day before two hour rehearsal. After the rehearsal John's dad was nice enough to give me a lift over to his house for his birthday party. Happy birthday John! It was an awesome party, which consisted of playing pool, shooting cars driving by with water guns (including one cop car, thank goodness for that wall), and Tyler and I getting soaked in our clothes and then jumping into the pool with said clothes still on. Most fun I've had in a while, I guess I really do need to get out more often. Then again I've been feeling pretty good lately, I'm not sure if it's easy schoolwork, not having to wake up at six-o-freaking clock to go to marching band every morning, or Tales of Symphonia with it's bliss inducing gameplay, but I feel really happy and self-assured right now with a dash of general well-being on the side. I can only hope it will last, it reminds me of the innocence of my childhood.

LotD today is to the best binary translator I have found to date. What's binary? Well it's a number system with only two numbers (0 and 1) and used along with hexadecimal in computers.
