Brent's Blog Thursday, September 23, 2004  8:30 PM   NHS, here I come.  This day in History: 490 BC - Battle of Marathon; origin of marathon long-distance race (run by Phidippides) 1642 - First commencement exercises occur at Harvard University. 2002 - Mozilla Firefox (Phoenix) web browser is born: version 0.1 I filled out my NHS application today, didn't get a chance to turn it in, I'll do that tomorrow. Mom left for her conference in Anaheim last night, she'll be back on Monday. I ordered some stuff from ThinkGeek.com it should be here sometime next week. I'm trying to earn 10000 "geek points" so far I've got 2200. Went to the speech and debate meeting at lunch today, aside from no one showing up it was pretty good. I hope we get to do a lot of stuff this year, at least it's starting earlier than last year. We were talking in English about clubs that we wanted to form.
