0wn3d (my crappy day + ownage)
First I made a change to the site. The comment link, while it still looks the same, will now take you to the official blogger comments page. Now you can still post anonymously, I would never strip you of that "right", however it will be much harder for someone to post with my name. Usually having a comments system run on the "honor code" isn't a big deal but you people just have to make it hard. Fine, your still free to say whatever, but just take credit for it (or at the very least, don't give the credit to me). I get the feeling that I just killed all of the comments to the blog with this change. Oh well.

The post from earlier was actually posted from inside a TGIF and the waiter was being really freaky. First he was hitting on Kelsey and her friend, and from what he told us, he had to be at least 25 (unless everything he said was a lie, which I am not discounting as a possibility). I guess the flirting whatever is something I'll have to get used to, but the other thing was that this guy was missing about five too many teeth for me to be entirely comfortable with. He just had that sort of shifty look. I don't know, maybe I'm just making unwarranted snap judgments, or being paranoid. Anywhoo, onto other, grander things.

Jeff and I were talking in English class about how tonight was going to suck because neither of us could drive, so we would just be sitting at home. Thirty seconds later Jeff gets invited to a Halo 2 LAN party. Fucker. Now I'm sitting at home, but you know what I'm doing? That's right, watching my brand-fucking-new DCI 2004 Finals DVD. It owns so hard. All of the division I shows were just so cool (except for Crusaders). Now for some pictures (apparently my blog has become known as sort of a photo odyssey, and I don't aim to disappoint)

What the hell is this? Oh yes, my ticket stub for the Edward Albee lecture. I think I was bored in English so I decided to take pictures of stuff in my pockets (this was the day of the lecture, so it's not like it survived in my pockets for forever).

Hangman, a really stupid game of hangman.

Stop the Bop. Choir plays Hansen until the students give them One hundred American dollars. Terrorists.

The design for the back of the Latin club t-shirt. Yes, that is a Mr. Bailey Cupid-ish thing.

It was cloudy and rainy Monday. Yay for weather!

Four kids in band bought the Nintendo DS pretty much the day it came out. I must say, I was impressed. I expected it to be thick, mainly because all of the pictures of it are from a more-or-less front view so the actual thickness became near impossible to derive. In reality, it was no thicker (or maybe just slightly so) than a GameBoy Advance SP. It is, however, a rather large rectangle (as opposed to a square) to be sticking in your pocket, but as a person who regularly manages to conceal paperback books within my pants pockets, I don't find this to be a major issue. The graphics for Metroid were quite good, and Pictochat was also impressive. To quote one young early adopter, "It owns."

Latin clubbers, unite! Ben in this week's Latin club meeting (which is under no circumstances to be confused with last week's Latin club meeting). This time we chose the motto for the T-shirts through an equitable and democratic process known as voting. The winning phrase: "To spread rumor among the common people." Yeah, that's Latin club.
