I could type faster if my hands would stop shaking.
I've had so much freaking sugar today. At church there was a fundraiser bakesale, so we all bought cookies, yay sugar. Then came home and made burgers for lunch and watched Star Wars Episode V (TESB, The Empire Strikes Back). I'd have to say that TESB is my favorite Star Wars movie, because it involves lots of Han Solo being the self-assured scoundrel that his truly is. I mean in VI he's frozen in carbonite and then made a general in the army, no chance for ruffian shenanigans there. Additionally in IV he spends most of his screen time trying to figure out how to pay back Jabba the Hutt, so I'd say that TESB kicks. Ass.

You know what else kicks ass? Weather. It was raining all day today, and cloudy too. I freaking love the rain.

Back to the sugar theme of this post. There was a church district wide dance tonight. See, churches of the same denomination are often grouped into districts, and about four times a year the districts have big youth activities. The problem is that our church up in Paradise Valley/Scottsdale is a half hour's drive away from all the other churches in our district (obviously the districts weren't established geographically) so by the time we arrived at the dance the food was gone and there were just a ton of cupcakes left. Yay, sugar. So, the first half was pretty much just hang and talk sort of thing, but then Ingraham decided that we should form a skanking circle. For those of you who are yet uninitiated skanking is a type of dance that is performed to ska music, Google it if you must. Anywhoo, the stupid DJ wouldn't play any of the ska/punk songs that we requested so we just skanked to things that should never be skanked to by sane people (which is not to say that sane people should ever skank). Yeah, it was awesome and I'm weird when I have a sugar rush.

Afterwards we stopped at Sonic for a semi-real dinner. Yay, milkshakes, yay more sugar. Came home and played some more Tales of Symphonia, I must say that as you progress the game becomes a little disturbing.

Update:I've managed to find a easy to follow guide on how to skank.
