Lazy

Yes, break has turned me into a lazy bastard. I've been neglecting my posting duties. And watching InuYasha. Though I'm sure that one does not facilitate the other, it's a nice excuse. I've been up to many things since the last post. Sunday I just hung out at church all day.

We quite literally hung out.

And Tyler decided to act like an idiot.
Later that night the family went and bought a Christmas tree. It's an eight and a half foot monstrosity of a Nobel pine. I can't remember the last time we bought a tree this big, mostly because I don't bother to remember how tall our trees are each year. But I'm sure that if I did, the results would be
surprising. Monday I slept and programmed, really that's about all I did. And I got some more contacts. I used to wear contacts quite a bit, but last year I was smited with a bad eye infection, so I've been wearing glasses since. I really fall asleep too often to safely partake in the wearing of contacts, ideally most brands should be removed
every night in order to prevent your eyes from swelling up and falling out in all manner of horrible ways. (On a side note Lauren has written an excellent
treatise on eyes.
Tuesday I woke up really early (about 8:30) to drop Kelsey off at a friend's house and to then take my car in to have its inner recesses subjected to the groping hands of a mechanic. They realigned the front end fairly quickly, so I was only there reading my book for about an hour. Tuesday night I went shopping with mom to help her pick out an mp3 player for Kelsey, but first we stopped at Toys 'R' Us, where I discovered this gem of a game:

Now I've heard of it before, even seen it referenced in a
Penny-Arcade comic and Tycho hailed it as the finest possible expenditure of twenty American dollars.

As I understand it, the object of the game is to take everything on earth, roll over it and thus collect it in your ever increasing ball of
stuff, and eventually that stuff becomes a star. Some days I feel as if would give undisclosed body parts to own a PS2.
