  A pick me up.
Want to feel better about yourself? Take the entrance exams for a community college, I guarantee they will either make you feel as if you are smarter, or just depress you about the general level of education among the populace. I didn't do as well as I wanted on the math quiz today, and then I had to wait for the bus for half an hour because the damned choir kids were riding it to go sing their little carols. Then I had to take reading and writing tests to prove I could read and write at a "college level" I scored a 95 and 99 respectively. I'm really hoping that PVCC's definition of "college level" differs from other institutions of higher education. Anywhoo, now I'm all registered to take Japanese next semester, I'm going to be very busy come then. Oh well. After taking the tests we went down to Costco to get passport photos I didn't smile or anything. It makes it easier for the computers to match you up with facial recognition if you don't. Maybe I should have waved to "big brother". So after we got home I played some Tales of Symphonia then went to karate. There goes my day, and it was a half day too. Karate was fun though, Sensei brought out these foam pool noodles and we used them to beat each other. In a very structured way, of course.

Here are some new pictures that I believe I promised a couple days ago.

Our trebuchet as of 11:18 Friday night.

Steve grinding away on some metal part.

The sling design that was to never be.

On Sunday we launched our rocket from the bottle rocket project with a real rocket motor. I tried for three but my launcher only put out enough power to ignite one. So it skimmed along the ground for a while trying in vain to kill us. Good times.

My dad got a new car. Kinda like his old one, but newer. And it smells bad. But that may just be my extreme dislike of "new car smell", it makes me feel slightly nauseated.

My group's Joe McCarthy poster. Remember, Big Joe is watching you!
