Brent's Blog Saturday, January 08, 2005  4:48 PM   Quiz time.  I've been really busy this past week, what with school being back in session and all. Kelsey's dance group received a last minute invitation to march in the inaugural parade in DC, so I've had to drive her and a friend to practice every day this week. And I found out last night that I have a report due tomorrow on the cloistered rule of Japan. Fortunately I just finished Shogun (which I will discuss later), and I am now semi-well versed in the feudal era politics of Japan. My other week long activity, besides driving and reading 150 pages a day, was to find a store that had World of Warcraft in stock. Seemingly every other human being on earth has a copy and leveling up, while I am stranded in this bleak "real world". I just called Best Buy and they got a shipment in yesterday and have two left. I put one on hold so I can get it after I finish this damn report. Apparently the reason why they are no where to be found is because Blizzard expected about 250,000 people to buy it initially, turns out that they sold about 500,000 copies within two weeks, and now their servers are wanged, and the supply is limited. Though I suppose that will hardly matter as a lot of the spells are really cast through the totems that have different area effects.
