Brent's Blog Tuesday, March 22, 2005  11:23 PM   Hey there, sunshine!  So I have a lot of math homework. Just thought I'd clear that up incase someone thought I was a hard worker. World of Warcraft released a new patch, and the closest way to describe my feelings using human words is floored. This patch is uber-cool. New UI bars! I smiled just typing that. Of course, being associated with World of Warcraft it took just shy of forever to download, but in my case it wasn't that much of an issue; I started the download before I left for Japanese class, and by the time I came home again it was almost done! Only like two hours! So our research group was one of two groups who actually were able to solicite approval on our thesis, now I'm not sure that this means our thesis is paticularly amazing, I'm pretty sure that Mrs. Miller sees our group as what you might label the "hopeless fuck ups", and as such she doesn't really give a damn about what we do, because there is no real possibility of us doing well. I mean our thesis was pretty shitty. Other than our mysterious thesis bsing abilities, school has been good to me these first days back. We've been reading our group book report books in English, and since I finished mine in Hawaii, I've been re-re-re-re-reading the Fellowship of the Ring. It's just a yearly tradition of mine. Last week Mike and I ran to Bookstar after century of song, and we both bought a number of books. Mike purchased some astronomy books and The Dark Glory War, you may be able to recall that I myself was quite absorbed with the series, so it will be fun to see him trying in vain to feed his rapidly growing addiction. I myself bought Slaughterhouse Five, The Sound and the Fury, A Secret Atlas, and Hyperspace. I finished all but The Sound and the Fury over break. A Secret Atlas was amazing, but its the first book in the series and the others aren't out yet! Now I have to wait for the rest of them. Here's a little into to the series.
