I'm what you might call a 'nerd'.
Right now I'm sipping some communist tea and listening to a nice Strauss collection that my mom never told be she had. Yes I steal her CD's to copy and listen too. That was a typo but I've decided to let it stand as a pun. School was pretty good to me today. Especially in the Physics. First I got the highest grade on the last physics test which filled me with nothing but pure joy. How the hell could I fail chemistry so badly and succeed at Physics so easily? Mrs. Johnson (the physics teacher) asked me if I wanted to be on science olympiad. I said yes of course. It sounds like fun I just hope I can stay on it, because Mr. Brandt is going to see me at the meeting and scream "what the fuck are you doing here, you failure?" Or something like that. The class did some reading of the Crucible in English today, I wanted to try and read a big part but at the last moment my damned shyness kicked in, though I must say Lauren and Abhijeet did an excellent job in particular.

After school mom picked Kelsey and I up to go apply for passports Kelsey was late because she was helping her friends through some emotional crisis, and when I say helping I mean making it worse by over-dramatizing everything. Angsty teens, when will they learn? Anyways after sending in the passport applications we stopped at a little store called House of Rice on Hayden. It's a store that sells a variety of Asian (mostly Japanese) stuff. My great-aunt used to work there and so did Liz for a while. I go some green tea and pocky. Green tea because I'm going to teach myself to like it before going to Japan and Pocky because, well you know, it's *pocky*. I also saw some tea that caught my eye, it's lichee flavored tea. Now if you've never had lichee I suggest you do because it is the best fruit ever. It did say, however right on the front of the package, "Product of the People's Republic of China" so it's communist tea. I bought it anyways, and it's quite good. After that we went to YC's for dinner. YC's at parent's expense = good.

Here's some pictures:

Our counter-weights for the trebuchet were mere thousandths of a pound off, precision like that is so damn fine.

The confusing amount of teas at House of Rice
